Pamela Moolman

I began working in glass 30 years ago, mesmerised by its ability to enhance and reflect light and colour, to make you pause a moment. I still am.

For the past 4 years Ian Richardson, a skilled metal sculptor and fabricator, and I have been collaborating to create large metal and glass structures. The steel responds to and secures the glass, enhancing its vibrancy and allowing it to respond to and be placed in shade the natural environment. We create both large structures secured on solid three pronged and staked bases and smaller indoor pieces.

I also create small, framed, jewel-like pictures in dichroic glass.

I live and work surrounded by the trees of the Forest of Dean.
